DESCRIPTION

Model describes a Gaussian shaped peak including a flat background.

Resolution smeared version is also provided.

**USAGE** **NOTES**

The function calculated is:

with the peak having height of I_{0} centered at q_{peak}
having a standard deviation of sigma. The FWHM is 2.354*sigma.

TEST DATASET

This example dataset is produced by calculating the PeakGauss using
300 data points, *q*_{min} = 0.001 Å^{-1},
*q*_{max} = 0.7 (Å^{-1}) and the above default
parameter values.
