The 5 position changer is used in conjunction with the 1.8T electromagnet. The changer moves vertically between the magnetic poles and can be controlled with the data acquisition software.
1" by 1" cadmium foils with 10mm diameter apertures fit define the beam path. Sample holders should be 0.99" by 0.99" with oversized holes in the corners to easily fit into position.
