This system is different from all of our other superconducting magnet systems, because it is a cryogen free system. It is the newest magnet system we have at the NCNR. Since it is cryogen free, it requires no refills of liquid helium throughout your experiment, however the lead time to cool down the system is several days so an experiment must have a least one week's notice before running. There are now two options for inserts: a 1K stick and the DICEVT dilution fridge insert. See below for their specifications.
