Mounir Tarek
Mounir Tarek is a physicist in the NIST
Center for Neutron Research (NCNR) of the Materials
Science and Engineering Laboratory at the
National
Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, MD. He is affiliated
with the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Tarek started at NIST in the summer
of 1997, working at the NCNR as part of a cooperative research agreement
between the University of Pennsylvania (M.L. Klein) and NIST.
He is involved in the study of the structure and dynamics of macromolecular
and biological systems using state of the art Molecular Dynamics simulations
in comparison to neutron experiments.
