Application Procedure

The Summer School is sponsored by the NIST Center for Neutron Research and by the National Science Foundation (NSF cooperative agreement DMR-9986442). Attendance is limited. Financial assistance for travel and subsistence expenses is available to graduate students, postdocs, and others who would otherwise be unable to attend, subject to approval by the organizers. Financial assistance is restricted to applicants from North American institutions.

With regard to applications from universities, our general policy is to accept only one application from any given research group. Preference will be accorded applicants from North American institutions.

A $50 registration fee, payable at the start of the summer school, covers the cost of refreshments each morning and afternoon, the summer school dinner on Thursday June 21, course materials and the school photo.
