Current

Staff chemist at the NIST center for Neutron Research, where I am an instrument scientist for the DCS Spectrometer and I also manage the NCNR efforts in the DoE/EERE in the Hydrogen Sorbtion Center of Excellence, sitting on the Steering Committee and co-lead on the Strong Binding of Hydrogen sub-project with Dan Neumann and NREL.

Awards

July 9 2009: Recipient of a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE).
This is the highest honor bestowed by the United States government on young professionals in the early stages of their independent research careers and quite an amazing recognition of the environment and support I have benefited from whilst working at the NCNR and reflects upon the creativity and abilities of all of my collaborators.
