Essentials of NIST Publication Policy

The essentials of NIST publication policy - WERBing - will be outlined, including: what does (and doesn't) need to be WERBed -- and when, what steps are involved in internal review, how the process can be speeded up (or slowed down), what the required elements in NIST publications are (units, uncertainties, disclaimers, etc), what to do about unapproved publications by collaborators, copyright issues, web publication, what is "noting," and so on. The discussion will be interactive, and there will be plenty of time for questions and comments.

Attendance will count for one hour of formal training.
