Tours for K-12 Teachers and Students

Facility tours are available for small groups of students. These tours are geared toward an audience with a wide array of knowledge. The tours feature talks discussing what neutrons are and why they are useful for research, demonstrations to explain the concepts of neutron contrast and chain reactions and the tour culminates in a walk-through of our guide hall.

The goal of these tours is to encourage grade school students to pursue degrees in science and technology.

These tours are designed around the audience, time availability and number of participants.

If you would like to tour our facility, please contact Yamali Hernandez.
