In-Class Experiments

A series of experiments have been designed to introduce grade school students to phenomena commonly seen in neutron scattering. A snapshot of these experiments are listed below.

• Growing Crystals - An experiment to grow alum crystals to explain crystal growth.
• Diffraction of Light - A laser pointer diffraction experiment to explain the phenomena of diffraction.
