A one-day symposium honoring Mike Rowe and Jack Rush,
entitled "Neutron Research at NIST", was held on
Friday, September 9, 2005 at the
Quality Suites Shady Grove hotel and conference center
in Rockville, Maryland.
The symposium comprised a series of talks by distinguished scientists,
followed by a festive dinner.
The symposium was sponsored by the
NIST Center for Neutron Research.
Speakers were Nitash Balsara, Robert Birgeneau, Mike Klein, Andreas Magerl, Karl Michel,
David Price, Dieter Richter, Sunil Sinha, Sam Werner, and Steve White.
Session chairs were John Axe, Jack Carpenter, Jim Rhyne and Julia Weertman.
Pat Gallagher, Lyle Schwartz, and Pat Dehmer offered welcoming remarks.
Roger Pynn acted as Master of Ceremonies at the dinner.
