The 70mm Orange Cryostat is the cryostat of choice for most instruments. There are currently four available for use at the NCNR and with at least one days notice a member of the Sample Environment Team can prepare one for your experiment. It is then the local contact and the user's responsibility to maintain the cryostat duing the experiment. Unexperienced users or NCNR employees can view the "How to Fill Liquid Cryogens" video or see a Sample Environment Team member for assistance.
