This system is different from all of our other superconducting magnet systems, probably because it is far older than any other. Its age, however, speaks highly of this systems robustness and ease of use. Lacking a persistence switch, the magnet is simply always at the same current as the power supply. There are now three options for inserts: a 3He insert (bottom loading), a CT dewar insert (bottom loading) and a top loading CCR insert . See below for their specifications.
